In this section the old man is becoming worn out. After reading this section some questions I have were that if he is going to make it back home? Another was what he plans to do with the fish once he catches the fish. The old man has just been out for his second day still trying to catch the fish. I do not see why an old man like him would try to continue and catch the fish he should get some honor for trying so far this hard to catch this fish. I don’t believe a hobby is worth suffering for. The old man may be lonely and coming to his time but that should be more of a reason to make his life worth the while because from what it sounds like he hasn’t been having much in his life. This is what I feel about how far we have read and another thing is that he is poor and isn’t living a glamorous life so why doesn’t he try to make it as much as he can.
