In class we went over all of our questions. A few of the questions in class I understood well and some I asked the same questions. One was why he keeps contradicting himself. I think he contradicts himself because he is crazy. I believe the old man was crazy because of his life. His life was poor and lonely. The old man didn’t have much going on so he always talked to himself. Another question was if he feared the sharks. I think the old man did but didn’t seem to show that he did because of his life like I wrote above because of his life he knew that he didn’t have a reason to be scared so it was easy to show it, but because of natural emotions I believe he did fear the sharks. These are some of the questions I believe can answer not knowing the author or who he was trying to publish.
